At the end of another working week, it was encouraging to learn that we are continuing on the downward trend of coronavirus-related deaths in Northern Ireland.
This number continues the fall that we have seen across the Province in recent weeks, with the number of new infections also falling along with the R-rate.
However, we can't afford to be complacent and that's why there has been concern about the huge crowds seen in Belfast city centre on Wednesday at the Black Lives Matter protest.
While no one will doubt that the message at the protest was the right one, there has been concern that such events could lead to a new spike in coronavirus cases here.

Today's coronavirus update:
Northern Ireland: One more person with coronavirus has died in Northern Ireland, taking the total recorded by the Department of Health – a toll primarily accounting for hospital deaths – to 536. There have been another three confirmed cases of the virus, bringing the total since the outbreak began to 4,776.
England: NHS England has announced 123 new deaths of people who tested positive for Covid-19, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 27,282.
Scotland: A total of 2,409 patients have died in Scotland after testing positive for coronavirus, up by 14 from 2,395 on Thursday, Nicola Sturgeon said.
Wales: Public Health Wales said a further four people have died after testing positive for coronavirus, taking the total number of deaths in Wales to 1,383.
Ireland: The coronavirus death toll in Ireland rose to 1,664 on Thursday, after a further five deaths were announced and Taoiseach Leo Varadkar said phase two of the roadmap would be triggered on Monday as scheduled.
