Test your skills: In Bryant Park at noon Friday, the Bryant Park Jugglers will be teaching an hourlong class for all skill levels, equipment provided.
Plant and seed swap: Celebrate all things green in Bryant Park from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, meeting other plant lovers and growing or starting your plant collection.
Federation Sound's 25th anniversary: Watch Shaggy, Tanto Metro & Devonte and many more perform on Sunday at the Coney Island Amphitheater in Brooklyn.

Family-Friendly Events

Magic in Manhattan: At 10 a.m. Friday in Bryant Park, Le Carrousel Extravaganza will host a themed show for children that includes dancing, music and a little bit of magic.

Arts and Culture

Music in the Park: Celebrate Jackson Heights Beautification Group's 20th annual season of "Summer Sundays in the Park" with a performance by Jackson Heights Orchestra at 6 p.m. in Travers Park.
Create your own art in Chelsea: Come explore Poster House's latest exhibits and get in on the fun by attending their woodblock printing workshop, starting at 1 p.m. Friday.
Dance the night away in Brooklyn: On Sunday at 8 p.m., gather for "The Brooklyn Cumbia Festival," part of Lincoln Center's Summer for the City. An outdoor music festival celebrating all genres of Cumbia music.
The art of Tai Chi: Join Raymond Li, the founder of Manhattan Tai Chi, and learn the ancient Chinese practice of Tai Chi on Sunday at 11 a.m.
Evenings at the MoMA: Enjoy music and cocktails at the MoMA on Friday starting at 4 p.m. while you explore the constantly changing galleries.

Expect the weather to vary this weekend, with a chance of showers on Friday, a partly sunny day on Saturday with a chance of thunderstorms throughout the day, and then a sunny day on Sunday. Temperatures will mostly be in the 80s during the day and in the low 70s at night.

'See ya'

Dear Diary:

I was in the locker room at my Hell's Kitchen gym changing into my street clothes. A man who was tying his laces said "see ya" to a friend who was on his way out.

"You just missed a golden opportunity to say 'see ya, wouldn't wanna be ya,'" I said to the man.

He looked up at me.

"I'd like to think I've outgrown that," he said.

"Obviously, I haven't," I replied.

The man stood to leave.

"Take care," I said.

"See ya," he said. "Wouldn't want to be ya."
