Every week, BJJ academies around the world open their doors for open mat — a time to train, connect, and grow, maybe even to share what you learned after watching your favorite BJJFANATICS.com instructional!

This December 13th we're joining forces with our friends at Tap Cancer Out to invite you to bring meaning to your open mat by joining Global Grappling Day—the annual worldwide BJJ fundraising event to benefit Tap Cancer Out's fight against cancer.

Registering is 100% FREE — and it's easy:

1️⃣ Host your open mat on or around December 13th.

2️⃣ Fundraise with your teammates from now until then.

3️⃣ Earn amazing BJJ gear like rashguards, hoodies, gis, backpacks, and even custom team coolers for Top Fundraising Academies.

Over 50 academies are already fundraising across the globe — from small dojos to powerhouse teams — all rolling for something bigger than themselves.

WHAT IS GLOBAL GRAPPLING DAY?

Global Grappling Day is a worldwide event happening wherever YOU are that brings together the BJJ community to fundraise and roll for a reason TOGETHER. Participants will team up with a BJJ partner(s) and commit to rolling somewhere (anywhere) for one-hour straight on December 13th, 2025.

Leading up to that date, participants are asked to fundraise on behalf of Tap Cancer Out and their 2025 beneficiaries, earning amazing perks along the way (just like their tournaments)!

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS IN JUST 5 EASY STEPS!

STEP 1:
Head to GLOBALGRAPPLINGDAY.COM and click on "Become a Fundraiser" to set up your fundraising page. You don't have to join or create a team immediately. That can be done later if your team hasn't been set up yet (and we can help you set it up.)

STEP 2:

Share your fundraising page with friends and family up to (and even after) Global Grappling Day

STEP 3:

Encourage your Academy to organize a GGD Open Mat or simply grab your favorite BJJ training partner during your regularly scheduled open mat!

STEP 4:
On December 13th, join grapplers around the world as you roll with your Academy and/or partner. You can choose at 1-hour challenge or also host an open mat, seminar or a team building activity!

STEP 5:

Score fundraising perks like a custom TCO fanny pack, an exclusive GGD fundraiser tee, rashguards, hoodies, cooler bags, backpacks, and even a free Gi!

This year, all teams over $5,000 will receive a RTIC cooler and TCO bluetooth speaker! PLUS the Top THREE (3) Fundraising Teams earn $1k in JOCKO Fuel product for their academy!
