After extensive development, testing, and preparation, we are launching a new McAfee Institute learning and certification platform—designed to bring everything together in one unified, modern experience.
This new platform consolidates your courses, progress, exams, certifications, credentials, and professional networking into a single system that is faster, more secure, and built for the long term.
Why We're Making This Change
This upgrade was driven by one simple goal: to better serve you.
The new platform allows us to:

Provide improved exam security with a fully integrated, in-house proctoring system (no more ProctorU)

Centralize certifications, transcripts, and CPE tracking

Offer secure, identity-verified professional networking, groups, and career opportunities

Introduce AI-powered tutors and career guidance aligned to real investigative and intelligence roles

Eliminate fragmented systems and improve overall performance and reliability
This is not just a visual update—it is a foundational improvement that supports your professional development now and into the future.
Platform Transition Timeline

The current platform will be taken offline Sunday Jan 18th, 2026 for final migration.

The new McAfee Institute platform will be live and accessible on Monday morning.

Please do not attempt to access the platform until Monday, as systems will be in transition.
On Monday, you will be able to:

Request a password reset
-
Set a new password
-
Complete your new profile
-
Enable two-factor authentication (2FA)
Important Exam Information

If you have an exam scheduled tomorrow (Sunday), you will need to wait until next week to complete your exam in the new platform.

Going forward, you will no longer need to schedule exams or use ProctorU.

All exams will now be delivered through our built-in, integrated proctoring system.
To ensure fairness during this transition:

Strict exam expiration rules are temporarily paused for 14 days.

Exam licenses will be auto-extended as needed at no cost just notify us so we can adjust your dates if your running into issues in the new platform at admissions@mcafeeinstitute.com
What to Expect
While the platform has been thoroughly tested and all student data has been successfully migrated, this is a significant system evolution. As with any major upgrade, you may notice minor adjustments or small issues as we continue optimizing the experience.
Our team will be actively monitoring the platform and deploying updates in real time. If anything impacts your coursework, exams, or progress, we will address it promptly—and no student will be penalized due to platform-related issues.
If you notice that any of your progress does not appear correctly once the new platform is live, please reach out to our support team at admissions@mcafeeinstitute.com. We will be glad to assist in correcting it.
In the coming days, we will share additional guidance regarding exams and next steps to ensure a smooth transition for everyone.
